FPFX Global uses the high-impact (red-folder) economic calendar at https://nfs.faireconomy.media to define news events.
Without the News Trading add-on: you may not open or close trades within 10 minutes before or 10 minutes after a high-impact news event. This applies on both the challenge and the funded stages. Low- and medium-impact news is not restricted.
With the News Trading add-on: this restriction is removed — you may trade through high-impact news, including the 10-minute window before and after each event, on both the challenge and funded stages.
Either way, keep an eye on swap fees on overnight positions and wider spreads during low-liquidity hours.
